A patient at a hospital in Cartagena (Spain) underwent surgery to straighten his penis.
Instead of the expected result, however, the man experienced a real shock when he found out that the doctors had removed as much as 6 cm from his dignity. As a result of the operation, the man has erectile dysfunction, which is why it is impossible to have sexual relations. When he went to the medical facility, the doctors explained to him that what had happened was “irreversible” and that his case had “no solution”.
The victim claims that before undergoing the intervention, no one warned him about the possible risks. Because of what he did, the man insists on receiving nearly 70,000 euros in compensation from the health authorities in Murcia.
However, the Legal Council of the Region of Murcia also hit out at the man, telling him that his claim for compensation had no merit as no causal link had been found between the damage suffered and the way the operation was carried out.
From there, they explained that the man was informed of such a possibility, because it is “a common circumstance in this type of intervention”, informs “The vanguard”.
