Doctors in Tomsk have discharged from the hospital a 40-year-old man who was hit by a train a week ago on the stretch between the Tomsk-1 and Predtechensk stations.
The incident happened on April 9 on the stretch between Tomsk-1 and Predtechensk stations. A 40-year-old man was hit by an electric train; the injured man was taken to the emergency hospital in serious condition. According to eyewitnesses, the man was heavily intoxicated.
As the press service of the regional health service told the editors of vtomske.ru, the man who was hit by an electric train was discharged from the hospital.
A regional health care representative clarified that the man was sent for outpatient treatment.
The transport police previously said that a Tomsk resident walked onto the railway track, and at that time a train was moving there. The locomotive driver sounded the horn and applied the emergency brake, but a collision could not be avoided.
