Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Traditional Medicine and Herbal Medicine Development Doctors (PDPOTJI), Dr. dr. Ingrid Tania, M.Si explained that strengthening immunity can also be done by eating a balanced nutritious diet, getting enough sleep, exercising regularly, and managing stress .
“Herbal formulas such as Black Seed, Meniran, and Ginger can also be an alternative for the community in maintaining and increasing body immunity,” explained Dr. England in his official statement, Wednesday (30/6).

“Black seed is rich in carbohydrates, protein, fat, and vitamins A, B1, B6, C, and E, and is included in the group of phytogenic immunostimulants with thymoquinone content to form and strengthen the immune system,” he continued.
On the other hand, meniran which is the best mixture of Black Seed contains active substances of phyllanthin and flavonoids which function as immunostimulants to optimize the body’s defense function.
“Another mixture is ginger which contains magnesium, vitamins C and B6, phosphorus, copper, iron, and calcium. The essential oil in ginger can also provide a warm sensation throughout the user’s body, and is effective in relieving colds,” he said.
