Doctor Suggest Egg Consumption, Complete Nutrition and Cheap

Egg content is very good for the development of the child’s brain.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Child health practitioner Tirza Arif Santosa advised people to consume more eggs as a source of complete nutrition and relatively cheap to meet daily nutritional needs.

“When talking about eggs, it is one of the cheapest protein sources with very complete nutrition,” said Tirza in an online dialogue monitored in Jakarta, Tuesday (2/3).

He explained that the nutritional content of eggs is very much like omega 3 which is good for heart health and blood vessels, for brain development of babies and children. In addition, there are vitamins that are quite complete, such as vitamins A, D, E, and K.

“Egg yolks are also high in lutein, which is good for eye health, especially for children’s visual acuity in the learning process,” said Tirza.

These nutrients that are good for the eyes can also be used by adults and the elderly to prevent cataracts in the elderly and prevent blindness. Tirza also suggested that eggs be consumed by many children because they contain high levels of choline and DHA nutrients which are very good for brain development.
