Currently in theaters, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness marks the grand return of Benedict Cumberbatch as the superhero wizard, this time facing Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen). But if fans thought that the film was only going to shine its spotlight on the two characters, it was without counting on the presence of a heroine that fans of the Marvel universe know well: America Chavez.
Played by Xochitl Gomez, the teenager has an essential role in the feature film by Sam Raimi
since she can travel between dimensions: a power that could well attract the lusts of a certain Scarlet Witch!
Making its first notable steps in the MCU this year, America Chavez was born from the imagination of Nick Dragotta, through the comic book Vengeance #1 published in September 2011.
America Chavez, alias Miss America
Also known as Miss America, she has several strings to her bow since she is endowed with superhuman strength and can move at incredible speed.
Apart from its ability to open star-shaped portals to travel between dimensions and thus travel the Multiverse
she can fly and resist bullets.

Both badass, funny and having oh so impactful powers for the future of heroes, she was entitled to her own series of comics in March 2017, signed Gabby Rivera, after joining the Young Avengers in 2013.
A possible return to the MCU?
If it is therefore still quite recent, this character could well have a place of choice in the MCU. And this after Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which hints at its origin story,
especially with the loss of his mothers.
Series centered on his adventures? Back in a movie? Feature film devoted to her evolution as Miss America? The future of America Chavez at Marvel is cut out to be starry!
