Still waiting for the theatrical release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessthe latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starring actor Benedict Cumberbatch plays the role of the wizard from the title again.
A new promo released for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness shows a look at the character that fans speculate is Superior Iron Man.
Superior Iron man
Within the Marvel franchise, this is an alternate version of Tony Stark. One who has embraced his dark character traits and focuses on his ego, monetary gain and personal interests. All that over the exploits we’ve come to know him for in the MCU.
Superior Iron Man is the result of a nine-part comic book series written by Tom Taylor. He has a blue LED stretch on his costume that turns red the moment Tony gets angry and is about to attack someone. The suit you see below is very reminiscent of the design elements of the suit Taylor once designed.
It is of course striking that Taylor recently also pointed to the design elements, but at the same time did not emphasize any “inside information” about the movie or Superior Iron Man’s involvement. One of the producers, Richie Palmer, referred the rumors to the realm of fables, but given the way Marvel producers Spider-Man: No Way Homewe won’t know for sure until a movie comes out.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hits theaters in exactly one month.
