Doctor overseeing the Blécherette Health Center

Unisanté, the University Center for General Medicine and Public Health in Lausanne, is opening a health center at the end of 2023 on the heights of the city of Lausanne, in the new Plaines du Loup-Blécherette district. This medical structure will offer consultations in general medicine and specialties in internal medicine and general psychiatry. Faithful to the training mission of Unisanté, this Center will have a function of training and supervising physicians-assistants and nursing staff. It will also be a place of innovation in first-line care models, with in particular the development of new nursing models, and will offer a health dimension to the inhabitants of the district.

Unisanté is looking for an FMH general internal medicine doctor interested in taking responsibility for this Center made up of an interprofessional team of around 15 people, while providing clinical consultation and supervision activities.

For our future Blécherette Health Center, we are looking for a

To occupy the position of doctor in charge of the Center

Your main tasks will be:

  • Participate in the project and development of the Blécherette Health Center;
  • Implement, direct and develop the Center de santé de la Blécherette;
  • Develop your own general medicine consultation;
  • Develop methods for the efficient management of patients in an interprofessional manner;
  • Supervise and train assistant physicians.

Your assets :

  • Swiss medical degree or title deemed equivalent;
  • ISFM (FMH) title of specialist in general internal medicine and clinical experience of at least 5 years after obtaining the title, including at least 3 years on an outpatient basis;
  • Experience in supervising medical personnel and in interprofessional collaboration;
  • Confirmed managerial experience or interest in training in management;
  • Strong interest in pre- and post-graduate teaching, sensitivity for academic research
  • Adaptability and flexibility;
  • Attraction for the creation of new models of interprofessional care;
  • Leadership, sense of collaboration, delegation and communication, political sense.
