– According to recent studies, a lack of vitamin D increases the risk of developing several types of cancer. This includes cancer of the intestine, breast and prostate. Its deficiency also negatively affects the nervous and cardiovascular systems, – said Fatima Dzgoeva in an interview with aif.ru.
An analysis to determine the level of 25 (OH D3) will help to accurately determine the concentration of this substance in the blood. Vitamin D3 deficiency can be indicated by irritability, increased fatigue, increased head sweating, or hair loss.
