A doctor was fired after his pre-wedding photo went viral on social media. He was fired for taking pre-wedding photos in the operating room.
It was a doctor named Dr Abhishek who was fired from the hospital where he worked after a pre-wedding photo of himself and his partner went viral. Dr Abishek conducts a pre-wedding session in the operating room of a government hospital in Bharamasagara, Chitradurga district, India.
In a video that went viral on social media, Dr Abihshek was seen taking pre-wedding photos by posing as if he was performing surgery on a patient. He and his fiancé both wore blue surgical gowns complete with head coverings.
The video also shows Dr Abishek pretending to perform surgery with real hospital equipment. There were several pre-wedding video and photo crews in the operating room.

Netizens criticized Dr Abishek’s viral pre-wedding photos and videos. Not a few netizens commented that Dr Abishek had no ethics. There are also those who call the doctor stupid.
After Dr Abishek’s pre-wedding video and photos went viral on social media, the local Ministry of Health immediately took action. Dr Abishek was fired from the government hospital.
“The doctor who conducted the pre-wedding shoot in the operating room of the Bharamasagar Government Hospital in Chitradurga has been expelled,” Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao said in a statement.
“Government hospitals exist to serve public health and not for personal gain. I cannot tolerate undisciplined actions from a doctor,” said Rao.
