Humberto Rojas Landa “cured” sick children with laughter therapy and was killed during an assault on a restaurant in the city of Puebla.
The 51-year-old man, known as the “Doctor Cosquillas” or “Solecito,” was shot during the assault recorded last Thursday.
After 24 hours of the robbery, Humberto Rojas Landa, who did altruistic work in hospitals and had a theater company to help children and patients, died from the attack.

A subject with a gun entered the nutrition club Bety’s Club last Thursday, where he began assaulting diners, including “Doctor Cosquillas.”
The victim reportedly tried to defend a mother and her son from the assailant and in response received a bullet impact. The criminal fled the place.
“Solecito” was admitted to the Traumatology and Orthopedics Hospital of the Health Sector, where he died hours later.
