Döbeln. 59 out of 61 students from the 2022 Abitur class have their Abitur in their pockets. On Saturday morning there was a ceremonial issue of certificates in the city sports hall. The relatively small Abitur class at the Lessing-Gymnasium Döbeln is the 3rd Corona year to take the Abitur and the most affected by Corona. The entire course level of 11 and 12 these students had to do with Corona. That’s why there were a few small simplifications: the students had half an hour more working time for the written exams. The focus of the exams for which the high school graduates had to prepare were reduced a little. Despite this small relief, all 59 students have mastered a high-quality and demanding Abitur, emphasizes headmaster Michael Höhme. The vintage achieved an overall average of 2.12. 24 students finished with an average of better than 2.0. With Cedric Vogel, Emely Francis Lange and Inga-Sophia Lehler, three students achieved an average of 1.0.
On Saturday evening, the graduation ball of the year was celebrated in the Welwel sports and leisure center in Döbeln.
