Do you want to visit Six Flags? NJ Transit Express Bus Returns Departing from NYC and Newark – NBC New York (47)

Good news for lovers of amusement parks.

If you live in New York City or near Newark, New Jersey starting this Saturday, May 28, right around Memorial Day weekend, NJ Transit will begin offering express bus service to the park. Six Flags amusements.

People who want to visit this amusement spot, known for its roller coasters, can take the 308 express bus from the Port Authority Bus Terminal and Newark Penn Station starting Saturday. The bus will only make these two stops and take riders to Six Flags.

The bus will operate until Monday, September 5, 2022 (and again for Fright Fest).

Bus 308 tickets must be purchased on the day of travel at NJ TRANSIT ticket windows and cannot be purchased through the app. Family SuperSaver fares, student and monthly passes, 10-ride tickets and other ticket types are not valid on this bus.

Six Flags Great Adventure celebrates the largest variety of enhancements in the parks’ nearly 50-year history, strong enhancements to the guest experience, new restaurants, attractions and events. Six Flags’ investment features beautification and modernization efforts throughout the world-class theme park, increased capacity and streamlined operations in attractions and food service. The reintroduction of several popular attractions for daredevils includes an action-packed Jr. Thrillseekers section, the return of Medusa (formerly BIZARRO™), the world’s first floorless, top-rail roller coaster, and the epic, floorless, chairlift-style BATMAN™ The ¡Ride.

Hurricane Harbor, one of the largest water parks in the Northeast, features eight slide complexes and more than 25 high-speed thrill slides, a million-gallon raging wave pool, a half-mile lazy river, and a large water park for kids. Hurricane Harbor is open weekends through June 12, including Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, and then daily June 17 through Labor Day, Monday, September 5, 2022.
