Vandenbroucke confirms his confidence in the virologists and epidemiologists who advise the government and who actually advocate stricter measures, such as a short, strong and complete lockdown.
“They know very well what they are talking about”, says Vandenbroucke. “As far as I am concerned, their advice is the best advice. These are people I listen to, with whom I telephone and consult on a daily basis. You do not want to know how much telephone companies earn from my contacts with them.”
