Just a few days after Release of Resident Evil 3 Capcom is officially starting to think about further potential remakes. The company has now started a survey on social media and would like to know if you would buy further remakes from the series of Resident Evil games.
This is now the first sign of that next Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 further remakes could be planned. The survey was conducted on an official Twitter account. That is the Asian account Bio_OfficialCapcom uses for the franchise.
Resident Evil: More remakes in progress?
Now the question arises whether the developers could not already work on another remake. If we assume that Resident Evil 8 Already published in 2021 and Capcom would like to supply the brand with new content at annual intervals, another remake in the style of RE2 and RE3 would definitely make sense for 2022.
The basis of the new RE Engine was at least at the latest with the remake of the second part and with the reinterpretation of “Resident Evil 3: Nemesis” they have shown at what short intervals they could produce new content in this regard. So a remake for 2022 would make sense if the release of RE8 remains for 2021, like Insider recently reported to have.
