Do you think the Eurovision song of S10 is a top or a flop? † Join the conversation

According to The Telegraph the song ‘De Diepte’ was presented yesterday in Amsterdam. This is the song that S10 will sing in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin from 10 to 14 May. After the presentation, the singer received a standing ovation from the audience. S10 walked onto the podium emotionally, but proudly.

“It was very crazy. A week before the submission closed, this was another rough demo version of this song, but I thought this just feels right. I really feel that!” said S10 to The Telegraph.

Bookmakers

The bookmakers make lists on which they predict the chance of winning per artist. On the basis of this list you can, for example, bet on who will win the Eurovision Song Contest and who will make it to the final.

After the presentation of its entry, S10 fell four spots from 16th to 20th place among the bookmakers. However, this prediction may change in the near future, because only half of the participants are known.

Dutch number

De Diepte is a quiet Dutch song. “It’s an ode to the sadness and memories you carry with you,” says S10. In other songs she sang about dark days and fears.

The singer will sing this song in Dutch in Turin. The last time the Netherlands presented a Dutch song during the Eurovision Song Contest was in 2010 with Sieneke. She finished in 14th place with 29 points in the semifinals, not enough to advance to the final. Do you think that S10 has a good chance of winning the Eurovision Song Contest with a Dutch song?

Comments

Reactions about the Dutch entry are pouring in on Twitter, which are both positive and negative. Els finds the song depressing.

For Nina it is already clear who will be the winner.

It gives Sammy goosebumps.
