The brunette half of the Russian band tATu was diagnosed with this terrible disease a few years ago. Yulia Volkova underwent a tumor removal operation, after which she had to face extremely invasive and unbearable postoperative treatment.
Although the surgery was a success, Yulia was traumatized that she would remain speechless, because one of the immediate effects was that she could no longer speak.
