In 2013, Tayseer Fahmy announced his final decision to retire from art without returning, in an interview with her in one of the programs, and said that the political road is witnessing his best condition and that he withdrew to run as a candidate in the parliament elections at that time, so she ran in the People’s Assembly elections for a Qasr al-Nil constituency, through her “Equality and Development” party, but she came back and decided not to run and also not to come back to representation.
