People using the InPost service can breathe a sigh of relief, especially drivers who do not have to rush to the parcel locker anymore. The company has changed the rules for collecting ordered products and these may remain in the locker longer than before. However, this is not a free service.
InPost extends the possibility of collecting parcels
The changes appeared in the regulations, and more specifically in the mobile application. Customers will not have to pick up parcels in 48 hours as before, because if they have such a need, they can extend the time. Currently, after two days, the package was returning to the sender and had to be sent again if necessary. This generated a problem and additional costs for the recipient.
Now InPost can earn on it, and the customer can get rid of the problem. “The functionality allows you to extend the stay of a parcel in a parcel locker by 24 hours for a fee of PLN 6.50 net (PLN 7.99 gross), regardless of the size of the package. Payment is made via the app only. Payment for this service is made by the recipient of the shipment. ” – we read.
Previously, a similar possibility existed, but it operated on the basis of the SMS PREMIUM service. Only that it cost over PLN 11 gross.
