Playmo de Brest, that’s its name, is a Playmobil that makes us discover Brest from its seven centimeters!
To the rhythm of his walks, posted on Instagram, Erwan L’Hostis, its creator and computer specialist, depicts the daily life of Playmo, a little character who has been pacing the city with his dog, his backpack, his fishing rod, his binoculars or even his scooter recently. “A lot of accessories are possible, but the goal is to be as spontaneous as possible and everything must fit in my pocket. »
Another look at the city
Playmo was born as an echo of his friend Pablo, a lego who takes over the streets of Quimper. “I thought it was cool and I wanted to do the same thing in Brest. ” Today, some 600 subscribers follow the wanderings of Playmo daily.
Interactions with subscribers are pleasant, they even give me some ideas of places to visit. I got into the game and took a liking to imagining Playmo in a situation, where I am, when I am there.
Taken using his mobile phone, the photos of Erwan L’Hostis constitute, with humour, an Instagram account where it is entertaining to follow Playmo, his hipster look and his red beard.
Playmo’s exploration allows you to (re)discover Brest with new perspectives: “The point of view is not the same when it comes to a seven centimeter character, you have to adapt and that allows me also to take another look at my city. »
