This festival has also introduced corrections in the work of the festival’s chief conductors and conductors, the huge work of several years has been destroyed, so we will give them the largest group of singers and dancers in their lives – the LTV spectators’ choir! They deserve it!

Arvīds Platpers, Reinis Rešetins, Iveta Pētersone-Lazdāne and Māra Upmane-Holstein will compete in the Zemgale team; The honor of the Latgale team will be represented by Ilmārs Dreļs, Edgars Vītols, Jevgenijs Ustinskovs and Ieva Florence-Vīksne; Aira Birziņa, Gints Ceplenieks, Olga Freiberga and Mārtiņš Egliens will dazzle in the Vidzeme team. Also in this program there will be fun questions of Latvian regional groups, musical puzzles and diaspora groups for participants led by Māra Sleja and Daiņa Grūbe. CONTEXT:

Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Festival events # dziedundejo2021 take place from July 12 to the end of October. It is planned that the total program of the festival consists of 15 different events in choir singing, vocal music, instrumental music, dance, visual and visual plastic art, folklore. Events are planned in municipalities, as close as possible to the place of residence, outdoors. The number of participants in any festival is from one to the number allowed in the country at that time, there is no large gathering, no centralized rehearsals and no long rehearsal process is planned. Events will be recorded on video. All videos will be donated to the Museum of Literature and Music for the upcoming Song and Dance Festival exposition as a bright testimony to the 21st century.
