Flexible screen technology has made a long journey of over ten years. The technology was used early in mobiles such as LG G Flex and Samsung Galaxy Round, but it took until the end of 2018 and the beginning of 2019 before mobiles with foldable screens were released on the market.
We are soon arriving at the fourth generation Samsung Galaxy Fold. Motorola also invested in the technology early on and several of the Chinese giants are working on so-called foldables. Even though the price has dropped since the start, it is still a costly cutting-edge technology.
Reports have suggested that Samsung hopes to sell significantly more foldables this year and make the technology more mainstream. Now we wonder how many people have adopted flexible screen technology early on in Swedroid and acquired a foldable one?
Do you have a mobile with a foldable screen, in which case which and how do you think the form factor works?
