Not a few women believe in the notion that bra underwire can be a trigger for breast cancer. Is that true?
Launching from Healthshots, Sunday (19/9/2021), Dr. Sunita Varma, Director, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fortis Shalimar Bagh Hospital confirms that underwire bras do not cause cancer breast.
Doctor Varma also added that there is a myth that underwire bras can block lymphatic and blood flow. This is due to the tight fitting to cause breast cancer. However, experts point out that this myth has been debunked.
