French intelligence services have found a “Russian trace” in the situation with the spread of bed bugs that local residents have started to see on public transport and in cinemas.
According to information obtained by SIA, “20 Minutes” newspaper spread the news about this.
So, according to the French claim, spreading panic and intensifying psychoses on the eve of the Olympic Games to be held in Paris in the summer of 2024 was useful for Moscow.
In this way, the country can respond to the sanctions imposed against it for the special military operation in Ukraine.
It is interesting that the authors give examples of articles published in both French and Russian sources.
One of these articles states that the invasion of bed bugs in Paris is due to the migration of refugees from Ukraine to the French capital.
But newspaper employees called this information false.
However, no one has provided any evidence in favor of the version accusing Russia leaked to the press.
It should be noted that at the beginning of October, residents of the French capital began to complain about a large number of bed bugs.
Some users even posted photos and videos on social networks.
Large bedbugs are said to be crawling in Paris on trains and buses, as well as in hospitals and cinemas.
Insects have even been found at the city’s main airport.
According to expert Joanna Fiete, Russians (?) who come to France bring bed bugs with them in their suitcases or hand luggage.
He said the number of bed bugs is increasing because they are becoming more resistant to insecticides – chemicals designed to kill insects.
