A few days ago, Capcom offered very easy to understand information about what we can expect in terms of image update and resolution in Resident Evil Village depending on which platform we are going to play on. Something that they have made much more difficult to understand, however, is under what conditions we will have access to the new demo.
The full demo includes two separate parts: one in the village and one in the castle, and will be released on all platforms at 02.00 on 2 May. During the following 24 hours, you can then play it for a maximum of 60 minutes.
But owners of Playstation 4 and 5 will be able to test the demo before then, and the first opportunity is tonight at 19.00. Then the district of the demo will be made available for eight hours, and you can play for a maximum of 30 minutes. Next Sunday, April 25, Playstation players will then be able to test the castle part of the demo under the same conditions.
If you own a Playstation, you can go in and pre-load tonight’s demo, and you do not need to have pre-booked the game to test.
