The French president recently said that “we must not humiliate Russia” in order to maintain diplomatic dialogue.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the call of French President Emmanuel Macron not to humiliate Russia.

“I don’t quite understand what the humiliation of Russia is. What kind of Russia? What are we talking about? That all these many years, more than 8, they have been killing our people. What are we talking about? Emmanuel is deeply immersed in the process, one of the leaders of the Normandy Four, he perfectly understands the details of the Minsk Document, all the agreements that were with the Russian side under Normandy 4, non-fulfillment of agreements, constant disruptions,” Zelensky said in a interview FT.
He noted that Ukraine in this matter is not humiliated, but killed.
“I don’t even think that they are humiliating Ukraine, because this is a weak position. Nobody humiliates us, they kill us. Therefore, we are not going to humiliate anyone in return, we will respond with the same tool,” the president added.
Recall Macron said that “we must not humiliate Russiaso that on the day when the hostilities stop, we can find a way out through diplomatic channels.” At the same time, the French president believes that Putin made a “historical and fundamental mistake for his people, for himself and for history.” Macron also does not ruled out trips to Kyiv in the near future.
