Two weeks ago EA showed off a little more of its upcoming Dead Space new version. Fans got to know a little more about the experience and whether this is a real new version or just a fresh coat of paint, but now it will be a while until the next time more details come out.
In a post on Reddit explains the Motive studio – which is responsible for the project – that there will be no more Dead Space updates until next year. A spokesperson says that the team will now go over all the feedback after the latest presentation, and otherwise just throw themselves over the development work.
– Now we will retire and work with the game, as well as spend some time going through all the thoughts, theories and suggestions you have shared with us. We look forward to showing how you have helped shape the game for next year, when we are further into the development process, the statement reads.
At the same time, Motive reminds us that absolutely everything that has been shown so far – from the new armor of protagonist Isaac Clarke to the aesthetics and atmosphere on board the spaceship Ishimura – can change before the game’s launch.
Exactly when the new Dead Space will be released is still uncertain, and EA has said that the game is still early in the development phase. However, we know that it will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.
