Green Pfaffstätten
NThe next RepairCafé in Pfaffstätten is in the starting blocks. The success proves the Greens right, and the Thermenlinie landscape conservation association benefits from it.
Repairs are taking place again in Pfaffstätten and we explain: The next Green Pfaffstätten RepairCafé will take place on October 7th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., this time at a different location. The professional repairman Kurt Zickler makes his premises available at Lichteneckergasse 14-16 in Pfaffstätten. Electrical devices (except white goods), computers, bicycles, knives and scissors are repaired again. Green Party leader Lisi Rigler explains: “We are happy to explain how new devices work. Snacks, coffee and drinks shorten the waiting time and invite you to chat and exchange ideas. Analysis and repairs are available for a free donation, this time the proceeds go to the parents’ association of the Pfaffstätten Music School. The donations will be used to purchase a piano.”
The landscape conservation association was happy about 450 euros
The fact that repairs pay off is clear from the last check handover. The proceeds from the most recently held RepairCafé Pfaffstätten went to the Thermenlinie landscape conservation association. Chairwoman Irene Drozdowski and her team were very happy to receive a check for 450 euros, which was ceremoniously handed over as part of the environmental construction site. In keeping with the motto “Repair instead of throwing away,” the money is used to service tools and shovels.
