The harm of grapes on the stomach

1- Diarrhea

When grapes are consumed in excess, the risk of diarrhea increases, and the reason is that they contain a high percentage of sugars, which make the stools softer.

2- Constipation

Grapes negatively affect intestinal health when consumed in large quantities, because the water-insoluble fibers contained in them slow down their movement, causing constipation.

3- Abdominal pain

Grape seeds can cause severe abdominal pain and, in severe cases, can lead to appendicitis and irritable bowel syndrome.

4- Acidity

It is advisable not to eat grapes on an empty stomach in the morning, because it contains salicylic acid, which causes a feeling of sourness, and also causes irritation in the stomach.
