“Dnipro-1” drew with “Dawn” in the final match of the 23rd round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL). The match at “Dnipro-Arena” in Dnipro ended with a score of 2:2.
The first half was goalless. It should be noted that Dnipro midfielder Oleksandr Pikhalyonok was injured at the very beginning of the game, and had to leave the field already in the sixth minute.
At the start of the second half, Yury Maksimov’s team scored twice. He scored in the 48th minute Oleksandr Svatokand four minutes later the advantage of Dnipro increased Oleksiy Hutsuliak.
However, the Luhansk team was able to recover quickly. At the 55th minute Ihor Kyryukhantsev reduced the gap, and seven minutes later Igor Horbach equalized the score.
It should be noted that at the end of the match the game was suspended twice due to an air alarm.

After this match, “Dnipro-1” (43 points) ranks fourth in the UPL standings. “Zorya” (23 points) is in 12th position.
In the next round of the championship of Ukraine, the Dnipro team will meet Metalist 1925 on April 15, while the Lugansk team will play against Chornomorets a day earlier.
