A ferry from .. Ferry Bouman? Netflix has come up with a special advertising stunt for the film about the drug lord that will be released next week. Recently a ferry has been sailing around in Amsterdam with the image of Frank Lammers as Ferry and Elise Schaap as his great love Daniëlle.
The ferry across the IJ in Amsterdam has been renamed the ‘Ferry ferry’, Netflix says. In Brabant, we will not see Ferry, Daniëlle and Brink, the drug boss (Huub Stapel) who passes by in the film, on the water. “We chose this location because the film starts in Amsterdam.”

In ‘Ferry’, it is about the early years of the Undercover cuddly criminal. Unlike in the series, Ferry is an adonis fifteen years his junior. That did not happen automatically, the actor said recently to Omroep Brabant. He worked for hours with a personal trainer and Lammers also trained with Yannick van der Schee from PSV.

The new film about Ferry can be seen on Netflix from 14 May. The portrait stickers on the ‘Ferry ferry’ will remain in place for the coming weeks.
