RALEIGH, North Carolina.- The Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is again expanding hours at multiple of its North Carolina offices after restricting their services for more than a year due to the pandemic.

The DMV thus resumes operations on Saturdays in 16 offices and expands the opening hours from Monday to Friday at 25 locations.

As of May 15 will attend walk-ins on Saturdays at 16 locations from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Eight of these offices will be able to take practical driving tests: Jacksonville, Wilmington South, Durham South, Greensboro West, Hudson, Charlotte South, Huntersville and Hendersonville.

The other eight venues They will process permits, licenses and other services on Saturdays, but they won’t take any driving test. These are the locations: Greenville, Fayetteville West, Raleigh North, Greensboro East, Winston-Salem South, Charlotte North, Monroe and Asheville.
