Dmitriy Rogozin was injured in a bombing raid in Donetsk, Russia

  • Dmitry Rogozin, former deputy prime minister of the Russian government and head of Roscosmos, and Vitaly Khotsenko, head of government of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, were injured on Wednesday night when Donetsk was bombed, the BBC reported.

    As Rogozin and Khotsenko’s entourage assure, there is no danger to their lives. Rogozin himself told Russia’s state broadcaster RT that he was wounded in the back by shrapnel. According to him, the shrapnel entered within an inch of his spine.

    “I will live,” assured Rogozin, who, according to official data, leads a group of military advisers in the Donbass – the “Tsarske Wolves,” reports news.bg.

    The Baza publication reports that, according to its data, Rogozin received a soft tissue shrapnel wound in the head, a penetrating shrapnel wound in the buttock and a penetrating shrapnel wound in the left thigh.
