DKI Provincial Government Receives IDR 60 Billion Dividend from Beer Producer Anker

KOMPAS.com – Anker Beer Manufacturer, PT Delta Djakarta Tbk. (DLTA) will share dividends amounting to Rp 240.19 billion to its shareholders. The value of this dividend is equal to Rp. 300 for each share.

The decision to distribute the company’s shares is determined through the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) which will take place on Thursday, June 16, 2022.

One of the largest shareholders in DLTA, namely the Provincial Government DKI Jakarta will also receive a dividend of Rp 60.1 billion.

“Rp 188.05 billion in dividends comes from net profit attributable to the parent entity for the 2021 financial year,” said DLTA’s Financial Planning Corporate and Reporting Manager, Poltak Siahaan, quoted from Happy, Friday (17/6/2022).

“Meanwhile, the remaining Rp 52.15 billion comes from the accumulated retained earnings that have not been determined for use,” continued Poltak.

For information, the DKI Provincial Government is listed as a shareholder of DLTA with ownership of 210.20 million shares or equivalent to 26.25 percent.

Some time ago, Governor Anies Baswedan insisted on selling the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s share ownership in DLTA. But until now, the discourse has not been carried out.

The plan to release DLTA shares had actually been carried out long ago, and was even included in the agenda of Anies Baswedan’s campaign promise when he fought in the 2017 Jakarta gubernatorial election.

At that time, according to Anies Baswedan, by selling the shares, the money could be allocated to build public facilities and meet the basic needs of residents.

“In terms of profit, it is also not profitable. From the point of view of residents’ needs, residents actually need clean water more than drinking water. So from drinking water for drinking water, liquor for clean water,” said Anies Anies Baswedan on January 24, 2017.
