Officers have reopened the route used for the contraflow system on Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto, Jakarta, Friday, June 4, 2021.
As an effort to reduce traffic congestion in Jakarta, the DKI Provincial Government (Pemprov) will implement paid roads, aka electronic road pricing (ERP). As is known, the preparation is still in progress.
According to the Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub), Syafrin Liputo, ERP is the third stage, after the 3 in 1 and odd-even methods in order to limit vehicles to suppress traffic in the capital city.
However, when Jakarta has implemented ERP, it can’t be done immediately using the paid road pattern, but will be combined with odd-even first. (Photo: SINDO/Yuliato)(ddk)
