The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has stepped up vaccinations after the case monkey pox or monkeypox continues to increase. The DKI Provincial Government is also isolating patients infected with monkey pox.
“Yesterday, the Minister of Health conveyed the 22 tracing results requested by the Provincial Government and the Ministry of Health to the Health Office, we traced them. So what are the actions? The action is that we vaccinate,” said Acting Governor of DKI Heru Budi when met at RPTRA Rawa Jaya, Pondok Kopi, Duren Sawit , East Jakarta, Wednesday (1/11/2023).
Heru also guarantees that stock of mpox vaccination is available, especially for at-risk groups. Apart from that, Heru ensured that patients infected with monkey pox would be isolated in hospital.
“(Vaccine stock) is available. We are isolating those infected with monkey pox,” he explained.
Heru said this was a case monkey pox those found in Jakarta come from certain communities. His party immediately localized the case.
“God willing, it’s only a certain community. We’ll localize it there,” he explained.
