DKI Jakarta Contributes the Most Indonesian Covid-19 Cases Today

DKI Jakarta recorded as a province contributing to corona virus cases (Covid-19) daily as of today, Friday (1/10) with 151 reported cases. Meanwhile, nationally, the Covid-19 Task Force noted that Indonesia had 1,624 new Covid-19 cases added today.

Apart from DKI, there are three other provinces that have the highest number of contributors to Covid-19 cases today with more than 100 cases. They are East Java with 124 cases, West Java with 115 cases, and Central Java with 107 new Covid-19 cases reported in 1 x 24 hours.

The Task Force also noted that 23 other provinces contributed new Covid-19 cases with a range of 10-100 cases a day. Meanwhile, 7 other provinces recorded additional cases below 10 today.

West Sulawesi, North Maluku and West Papua with 7 cases of Covid-19 each in a day. Followed by Bengkulu with 6 cases, Southeast Sulawesi and Maluku with 3 cases each, and Gorontalo with 1 additional Covid-19 case.

Furthermore, today there are also three provinces that account for the most daily death cases, above and equal to 10 cases. The highest was Central Java with 15 cases, then East Java with 11 cases, and Aceh with 10 deaths in a day.

As of today, 11 provinces are also known to have not recorded the addition of new Covid-19 deaths. They are West Kalimantan, Bangka Belitung Islands, South Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, North Maluku, Maluku, Jambi, Gorontalo, Bengkulu and West Papua.

The daily data released by the Covid-19 Task Force as of today, Friday (1/10) noted that there were 1,624 new Covid-19 cases added. Meanwhile, for recovered cases, there were 2,811 additional cases, and 87 new deaths.

So that cumulatively, as many as 4,216,728 people have tested positive for the corona virus. Of that number, 4,039,835 people have recovered, 34,867 people are undergoing treatment in hospitals and self-isolation, while 142,026 others have died.
