Sudirman said declared his resignation as President Commissioner (Komut) of PT TransJakarta. The BUMD Development Agency (BP) said his resignation is still being processed.
“Yes, that’s right, but approval will be determined through a GMS decision,” BP BUMD DKI Fitria Rahadiani chief told reporters on Friday (11/11/2022).
Meanwhile, TransJakarta’s business secretary division head Anang Rizkani Noor said Sudirman Said’s resignation was communicated to the board of directors at an official meeting. He said that TransJarta has not currently released an official statement regarding Sudirman Said’s resignation.
“I don’t remember when, but it was communicated at an official meeting,” he said.
Asked about the reason for the resignation Sudirman said, Anang reluctant to disclose it. He said the resignation was still pending.
“Maybe you can ask him. What is the reason. In fact, he is between commissioners and directors. So he will resign. He said that,” he said.
You want to help Anies in the 2024 elections
Previously, Sudirman Said resigned from the President Commissioner of PT Transport Jakarta (TransJakarta). Sudirman Said wants to help Anies Baswedan compete as a presidential candidate in the 2024 general election.
“PT Trans Jakarta’s resignation letter was submitted on November 10, 2022,” Sudirman Said said when contacted. detik.comFriday (11/11).
He also claimed to have met with interim DKI Jakarta Governor Heru Budi regarding the request for resignation.
“I met with the interim governor to file a resignation request from PT Trans Jakarta’s commissioner chairman,” said Sudirman Said.
In addition to his resignation in TranJakarta, Sudirman Said also resigned as Secretary General of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). Sudirman Said admitted that these resignations were carried out because he would assist Anies Baswedan in the 2024 elections.
“In the future, it is likely that I will help Pak Anies Baswedan more in preparation for the 2024 general election,” said Sudirman Said.
“I do both with ethical considerations, maintaining good governance, avoiding potential conflicts of interest. Therefore, activities to help Pak Anies in future political processes can be carried out freely,” he added.
