Of note, the positions of Anies Baswedan and Ahmad Riza Patria will end on October 16, 2022. This plenary programming is a mandate given by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Kemendagri) at all levels of the DPRD at the provincial, district and city levels which have regional heads. and deputy regional heads, whose term expires this year.
The announcement of the dismissal of regional heads in the provincial DPRD is contained in law 23 of 2014 on the regional government. As for the dismissal of regional heads, it is written in articles 78 and 79. Article 78 paragraph 2 states that the regional head is dismissed as article 78 paragraph 1, one of which is due to the expiry of the mandate. While in article 79 it is explained that the announcement of the dismissal of the Governor is announced by the leadership of the provincial Presidential Decree.
