Secretary of the Alumni Brotherhood Shura Council (PA) 212 Slamet Ma’arif said the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) often criticized the mass actions that were organized by his party. DKI Jakarta Youth Movement (GP) Regional Leadership (PW) chairman Ansor Muhamad Ainul Yakin asked PA 212 not to be reactive and angry when he receives advice.
“The more responsive they are to positive appeals such as those broadcast by the PBNU regarding identity politics, it shows groups that could really be happy if the country is noisy and children from other nations are fighting,” Yakin said in a written statement on Saturday (11 / 11). 5/2022).
Ainul Yakin requested that the parties PA 212 does not feel good and well. According to him, the noise will only be harmful, he also said that the energy possessed should be directed to productive things.
“You don’t have to feel the fairest and greatest, making noise will only harm us all, especially if it hurts the sense of brotherhood among the children of the nation,” said Ainul Yakin.
Furthermore, Ainul Yakin also said that his party is committed to maintaining harmony in Jakarta. He therefore invites all parties to keep the peace together before the political year.
“DKI Jakarta Ansor will continue to strive to maintain harmony and peace in Jakarta. We urge all parties ahead of this political year to exercise restraint and not make words or movements that trigger chaos. We will pay any price to maintain stability at Jakarta, “He said.
Earlier, Slamet Ma’arif claimed that the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) often criticized the mass actions organized by his party. Slamet responded to the criticisms with the proverb ‘the dog barks, the caravan goes by’.
“From the beginning, PBNU was said to behave like politics. It was the ‘song’ of the past. Even though NU has always played politics,” Slamet said when contacted on Saturday (11/5/2022) .
Slamet supports the action PA 212 held in the public interest. In addition, actions are taken to criticize and remind the government of the policies that have been adopted.
“Whenever there is a government policy that really endangers the country, including the Omnibus law, then the current fuel price hike, we will definitely go down. We are actually a moral movement, to serve as a reminder to the government, to criticize government policies so that they are not arbitrary, “he said.
According to Slamet, NU did not understand the purpose of the action held by PA 212. He then stated that there were numerous mass movements that held demonstrations, not just PA 212.
