Alexander Jeremejeff has just returned from disqualification and is now being chased to the top of the shooting standings by Marcus Antonsson.
Before the meeting with Djurgården, Magnus Eriksson believes that the focus cannot only be on Jeremejeff, but Dif has great respect for Häcken’s side.
– He splashed a couple of balls there and did damn well, but the players around too, Häcken built a really impressive team and we have to respect him at the same time, it’s about stopping the whole team more than just a player, says the captain of the Djurgården team in Fotbollskanalen.
While Eriksson talks about Häcken’s strengths, it’s clear that Djurgården focuses primarily on themselves:
– It is our home court and we set our game.
Even though it was Jeremejeff who scored in the last match between Djurgården and Häcken (penalty), Djurgården has fond memories of meeting Häcken at the start of the season.
What do you remember about the away match against Häcken?
– It’s been a while but it was a difficult game and a good performance on our part where we managed to win. It is clear that we want to repeat it, but it is a new game and we must respect it.
