Djurgården sells Joel Asoro to Metz.
According to Sportbladet’s information, the clubs have now agreed on the transfer fee for the player – who has already been thanked by his teammates in Djurgården.
– I can confirm that we are in agreement with a club, says sporting director Bosse Andersson.
It was last Friday that Sportbladet could reveal that Djurgården was about to sell Joel Asoro to Metz in Ligue 1.
Then a final offer from the French club was expected to come during this week. It has now done so and the offer has also been accepted by Djurgården. Something that is confirmed by the sports manager Bosse Andersson, who does not want to reveal which club it is about.
– I can confirm that we have had discussions with a club and that we are now in agreement, he says briefly.
Have said goodbye to the squad
According to Sportbladet’s information, Asoro has also said goodbye to his teammates at Kaknäs and he is also not in the squad for the cup match against Sandviken tomorrow.
What remains now is for Asoro to agree on the personal terms of the contract and go down to France for the medical.
