World number one Novak Djokovic survived his potentially difficult second round match at Wimbledon without any problems. The 34-year-old Serb gave South African Kevin Anderson no chance at 6: 3 6: 3 6: 3 on Wednesday in London. Both had contested the final of the Grand Slam tournament three years ago. The former world number five was only equal in the initial phase. In the women’s category, the former US Open winner Bianca Andreescu, the next top player, was eliminated early on. The Canadian lost her first round match against the French Alize Cornet with 2: 6 1: 6. Andreescu was set as number five.
