DJI to Launch DJI Mini 4 Pro: A New Consumer-Grade Quadcopter

DJI is announcing a new consumer-grade quadcopter this month. The drone will be called the DJI Mini 4 Pro.

What is known

The future quadcopter, like previous models of the Mini series, which was once called the Mavic Mini, will weigh 249g. This means that it will not have to be registered in countries where regulators have restrictions on the use of UAVs weighing 250g or more.

DJI Mini 4 Pro will receive one camera with a resolution of 48 MP. An f/1.7 lens will have an equivalent focal length of 24mm. The quadcopter will retain Focus Track and Hyperlapse modes, as well as support for shooting video in 4K UHD with a frame rate of 100 FPS and HDR.

The unmanned aerial vehicle will be able to stay in the air for 34 minutes. The maximum transmission range of the video stream will be 10 km and 20 km in 4K ULTRA HD and Full HD modes, respectively.

Price and when to expect

The cost of the DJI Mini 4 Pro has not yet been specified. The presentation is expected on September 15, 2023.
