Among these is the new Quick Launch which allows you to connect an iPhone to the gimbal and automatically launch the application DJI Mimo to access the camera view. This means that the setup time is shorter, up to 3x faster than previous models.
Introducing an improved version of the technology active track , the OM 6 offers more stable tracking over long distances and also allows the front camera to track constantly moving objects. DJI is quick to point out that the ActiveTrack 5.0 makes the movie “more like a story”.

There are also four recording modes switchable manually by tapping the M (mode) button. Are they:
Tracking : The camera view follows only the gimbal rotation movements, remaining stable during tilt and roll, ideal for shooting horizontally or when surrounding a subject.
Tilt locked : Camera display follows gimbal rotation movements only, remaining stable during tilt and roll, suitable for horizontal shooting or when circling around a target.
FPV : In FPV mode, the three axes of the stabilizer follow the movement of the main frame. Ideal for dynamic recording of fixed targets such as buildings or statues.
SpinShot : Move the joystick left or right to control camera view rotation and create dynamic recordings. Ideal for recording scenes with forward and backward motion and at high angles.
To help make your content even more expressive, Osmo Mobile 6 includes a number of smart features such as Time frame , Dynamic zoom Gesture Control and Overview.
Additionally, DJI has equipped the OM 6 with a larger clamp to accommodate devices even with cases. The gimbal itself weighs just over 300g, which means it’s not too hard to carry in your pocket.
