Chairman of the DPP PDIP Djarot Syaiful Hidayat responded to Prabowo Subianto’s volunteer declaration and Budiman Sudjatmiko (Prabu) in Semarang today. Djarot welcomed this, even praying that Budiman could become Prabowo Subianto’s vice presidential candidate.
“Yes, just let it be, that means congratulations to Pak Budiman, because as a vice presidential candidate from Pak Prabowo, well, yes,” said Djarot at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday (18/8/2023).
Djarot responded to Budiman’s perception that he was maneuvering towards Prabowo even though he was still a PDIP cadre. With satire, Djarot encouraged Budiman Sudjatmiko Prabowo’s running mate.
“We encourage Pak Budiman to become Pak Prabowo’s deputy,” he said.
It is known that Prabowo was present at the declaration of the Prabowo-Budiman United Volunteers (Prabu) in the Marina Semarang Beach area. Budiman who is also a PDIP politician was also present at the location.
The declaration took place at the Marina Convention Center, Semarang at around 15.00 WIB. From detikJateng’s monitoring at the location, Friday (18/8/2023), you can see masses of volunteers crowding the Marina Convention Center area.
The masses of volunteers looked unified in T-shirt uniforms with Prabowo-Budiman Sudjatmiko’s faces on them. A number of Prabu’s attributes have also been installed in the Marina Convention Center to the vicinity of the Marina Beach area.
In fact, the parking area has been filled with buses. While outside the stage, UMKM stands were also provided as well as a stage that leads to the ocean.
Budiman Sudjatmiko arrived first at the event wearing a red batik shirt. A few minutes later Prabowo Subianto followed.
Prabowo was seen wearing his usual clothes in the form of a beige safari shirt.
