Djambazki: Genchovska’s immediate resignation if she promised to launch PCM in EU-Bulgaria

E Member of Parliament and Co – Chair of VMRO Angel Djambazki called for Immediate resignation of Foreign Minister Genchovska if she promises Macedonia’s EU accession. This is stated in a video address of the Bulgarian representative in the EP and co-chair of IMRO Angel Djambazki, distributed through his Facebook page, reported by Dariknews.bg.

The reason for this was a press release from the German Foreign Minister, which states that Bulgarian Minister Teodora Genchovska has undertaken the commitment very soon and without any conditions for Bulgaria to give the green light to start negotiations with RS Macedonia for EU membership.

“If it is true – this is unacceptable and the only move of the Bulgarian Foreign Minister is resignation“, emphasizes Djambazki.

“Because if such consent and such a conversation, if it is led by still Foreign Minister Genchovska, will mean national betrayal. It will mean that our well-founded suspicions that the government was formed solely for the purpose of national treason are justified. (…) This will mean, dear comrades-in-arms, that the Bulgarian government is following this line of betrayal, of which we warn you several times. Namely – around May 24 in Rome, the day when the memory of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius is honored, in front of the tomb where the relics of St. Cyril, at the joint celebration of the anniversary of the delegations of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Northern Macedonia, a statement should be made to take the first step towards betrayal, “Djambazki said.

In his address, he stressed the immediate need for a response from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria Teodora Genchovska, which is from the quota of ITN – a party that swears that it will leave the ruling coalition if a compromise is reached with the Bulgarian position. Is this hypocrisy or another game of the rulers? Either way, the co-chair of the IMRO is uncompromising because of the next information about the next meeting on the topic, which comes from a third country and not from the Bulgarian government, “said the MEP.
