DJ SODA Expresses Gratitude to Japanese Fans After Sexual Harassment Incident

DJ SODA (35), a popular Korean DJ and influencer, updated “X” (formerly Twitter) on the 19th. He expressed his gratitude for the response from Japanese fans.

DJ SODA was a victim of sexual harassment at a music festival in Osaka on the 13th of last month, which became a big issue and was widely reported on TV.

On the 14th, one month after this incident, SODA returned to Japan. She posted a photo of herself visiting a popular ramen restaurant, but her revealing appearance in a camisole and miniskirt drew criticism online.

However, SODA posted a three-shot image with two Japanese female fans, saying, “There are many people who slander me on the Internet, but in real life, I was surprised and happy that there were many people who supported me.” When I came to Japan, all the people I met on the road supported me and were happy,” he said, revealing that he was surprised to see so many Japanese people welcoming SODA.

“So I decided not to trust the Internet,” he wrote.

Although there are many critical voices on this post, there are also many positive comments such as “There are many people who love you,” “I support you,” and “Just go your own way!”
