For less than three years, Lelde Dreimane and Kaspars Zāle were one of the most beautiful pairs of actors enchanted by both colleagues and theater lovers. The young actors got acquainted while studying acting at the Latvian Academy of Culture, but looked at each other when they started working together at the Daile Theater in 2015. However, both have stopped living together and decided to go their separate ways. They spent the summer alone, writes the magazine “Kas Jauns”.
Enjoyed the opportunity to be together both at home and at work
Until a few years ago, Lelde and Kaspars enjoyed every show in which the roles were assigned to both of them. The couple appreciated that, taking into account both professions and work in the same theater, they were also allowed to better understand and accept each other, as well as plan joint moments of rest.
“If there is free time, it is common for both of them. We understand each other very well. We know when everyone has rehearsals, when performances. We calculate when a free day comes, then we go outside Riga in the fresh air, we walk. We prefer this type of recreation, and we rarely attend social events, because we are both quite busy working in the theater and other projects, ”said Daile Theater actor Kaspars Zāle two years ago. That year, Dreimane and Zāle delighted the audience by playing roles in “Bannija Manro’s Death” and “Really Bad Guys”.
