Diving accident in Montluçon (Allier): the vital prognosis of one of the two victims is not grafted

The Montluçon firefighters intervened today, Sunday 13 November, mid-afternoon, following a diving accident involving two men in their fifties, at the Loue water park, in Saint-Viktor.

A suspicious air bubble in the blood

One of the two victims lost the movement of a leg and an arm going up the trampoline. Conscious, she was transported by helicopter to Lyon where there is a hyperbaric chamber. The rescuers suspect that an air bubble has formed in the victim’s blood, whose vital prognosis is not committed. The second victim was transferred to the Montluçon hospital center to be monitored for at least six hours. She has no symptoms.

“Procedures were followed”

“The water park teams have responded very well and standard procedures have been initiated,” commented Lt. Ludovic Cointrel-Ruaux, operations manager. An ambulance was mobilized and the departmental diving technical adviser was present.

Six months in prison for the attacker of the manager and a waitress of a restaurant in the center of Moulins (Allier)
