An inspection by security services in Giza revealed the circumstances of the slipping of a trailer carrying bridges in the Tharwat bridge area on Thursday.
The examination, under the supervision of Major General Abdel Aziz Selim, Director of Giza Investigations, revealed that two trucks were hauling part of a bridge under construction to take it to the installation site, with a defect in the rear.
The defect caused the piece to fall on 4 parked cars, which resulted in its complete crushing without loss of human life.
And safety leaders moved to the Al-Balagh site in coordination with the company carrying out the work on one of the new axles and using heavy equipment to lift the rubble from the accident.
In turn, the traffic police work to extract condensation and normalize the movement of cars.
